I have an urgent query on H4 to L1 conversion. I am working for a renowned product company which has offices in both India and US.
Iam currently in H4 status (took a leave from my work in India, arrived here in US, a week before).
My company is now ready to file L1 for my transfer to their US office.
Would like to get suggestions on below things:
1. Company using L1B blanket petition and for that I need to travel back to India to get Visa stamped. Is there any way to avoid stamping process in blanket case?
2. Company filing L1B Individual petition for me, so that my status gets changed from H4 to L1 once the petition is approved. Is this better way than blanket petition? Also, what is the success rate of L1b individual vs L1b Blanket? Will there be any problem for conversion from H4 to L1? Does USCIS approves such conversions?
My company is ready to file blanket or individual types. Please suggest.
