  • L1-B Individual (Extension approved till Nov-2016)

    Hi Raghvi,

I got my L1-B (individual) extension approval till Nov-2016, my employer filed extension in premium processing and I got my extension approval without any RFE with in 7 days. My current Visa expire on Nov-30-2014, I am planning to visit home town (India) in coming December.

My basic confusion is - should I go to India for stamping or if I go to Canada than there is more probability to getting visa stamping without any hassle. I understand that no one have 100% guarantee, but I would like to know your opinion for the same

Please advice on my case as your advice is very valuable for me.

    Thanks.

It would be wrong assume soem arbitrary percentage that Canada has 100% guarantee and India has 50% guarantee. Wherever you go for stamping, keep a back up plan in case it gets rejected.

This is my opinion not legal advice.

Thank you Raghvi for quick reply

I am not assuming that CANADA have 100% guarantee, but as I heard from past few months that INDIA consulate is more strict in L1-B cases comparatively to CANADA consulate. That's why I consider this option.

Have you heard any L1-B stamping rejections from CANADA or INDIA (if anyone going after extension approval) not with new petition I know lot of rejections in fresh cases. I hope you have some data for such kind of cases.

      Thanks.

Unfortunately this data is not shared in a public domain, maybe after 2-3 Years we would get to see 2014 data.
