Hello,
My L1B Visa is expiring August 2015 and my company is planning to file for both, L1B extension and a separate H1B visa. The H1B is supposed to be a back-up in case the L1B extension is rejected.
My question is that in a situation that both, L1B extension and new H1B Visa get approved, and that I continue to work on my L1B, can I switch my job later using the H1B Visa?
For Ex - I continue to work on my extended L1B with Company A until January 2016, but then switch to Company B by transferring my H1B to them? This ways I am assuming I would not need to apply for a another H1B in the 2016 Cap. Please let me know if this correct.
Thanks!!
