L1A Individual Visa Interview waiver

Hi,

I went to US on blanket L1 A in 2011 and extension got approved in Sept'2014 as L1 (Individual) which is valid until June 2016. Now I am planning to go India on vacation in Dec'14 and planning to apply for re-stamping in Jan'15 since my blanket L1 has expired in June 2014. I want to know If I qualify for Interview waiver program. I have looked at the checklist for waiver program and have the following question

CRITERIA: I have a previous US Visa in the same class as the Visa for which i wish to renew.
QUESTION: Since I was on L1 Blanket first and then L1 Individual, is it still considered the same class?

Yes you may be eligible. Do remember, Consulates have a right to ask you to come to interview even if you are eligible for interview waiver.
