I-94 Expired, Can I apply for L2 EAD for my spouse

Hi, I am on L1A and my I94 has expired, and extension has been approved, stamping is not done. Spouse also has an expired I94 but L2 extension is approved. Can my spouse apply for L2 EAD now?

If your extension is approved, did you not get a new I-94 along with that? If you did then using that new I-94 L2 EAD can be extended.
