Hi, I am in US in L1 A visa. I plan to apply for Green card in 10 months. My spouse is an employee in the same company and is coming to US on a separate independent L1 B visa.
I wanted to know can my spouse (although she has independent visa) apply for green card along with me when I apply for my green card ? Officially she is not my dependent as my spouse has a separate visa.
Does my spouse needs to be converted to L2 from independent L1 B first to be eligible for filing green card application with me ? Or can I start the green card application for us both (she as dependent) while she remains on her L1 B?
