Hi,
in Ago 2010 I enter US with L1-B, then extended it (two times) until Ago 2015, then my company requested a visa L1-A that was granted on today until Dec 2016.
I was very happy thinking i could pass to GC easly since the L1-A, however, my compay will request PREM (labor certification) because acording to them i was not in managerial position aborad and before came to US. Acording to them i need to make PERM (LC) process and eventually convert L-1A for an H1-B visa because L1-A can not be extended more that 7 seven years but H1-B can be extended. It is suposely the H1-B will bring me time.
I didnt understand very well since i thought with L1-A i have the option to ask for GC directly.
Please confirm me this
