Hello,
This may have been answered before but I could not find the info.
Im currently in the US on an E2 5year visa with my Spouse, my spouse works. We have been in the country for 6 Months & I transferred with my employer from the UK.
My employer has recently offered me a promotion to a manager’s role looking after the 7 engineers in my team. My ultimate goal is to get to a green card as quickly as possible. My question is what visa should I look to move to in order to have a path to a green card? My spouse needs to be able to work.
Ive looked into both L1A & L1B (I have specialized knowledge) however im not sure on the EVB1C process.
Has anyone ever had experience of changing from an E2-visa to L based visa? Did you have to leave and come back & what was your greencard path like etc?
