Can L2 visa holder with valid EAD travel outside US and be back

Hi,

I am on L2 valid visa and is currently holding EAD. I need to travel outside US to Dubai for 2 weeks and be back. My questions are
1) will there be any problem at the immigration to re-enter US after the travel. Is there any need for me to file for advance parole or I-131
2) will my ead which is valid for next 2 years become invalid and do I have to reapply again
3) what are the documents that I should carry with me

My husband will not be travelling with me and he will be in US. I will be travelling with my two kids who are also in L2.

Your EAD is not a travel document as stated in the card. I am on L2 and also have EAD. I was able to travel twice (first alone and 2nd with the family) with no problems. As long as your EAD is valid, you don't have to reapply when you come back. I did carry the I-797 approval for L2, our marriage certificate and most of the documents that we brought on our initial entry to US.
