L1 Visa Question ( when to arrive ? )

Hi All

I am about to apply for L1B Visa to US ( Intercompany transfer ) while i am not yet sure of my travel date ,
The question is , is it required to travel to USA for First Entry within a certain period after the issuing of the L1 visa ? ...same question for L2 ?

No such rule one can travel as long as visa is valid and job is there in US.
