L2 to l1 conversion

Hi All,
Here is my situation.
I have 9+ years of experience and from last 2 years I am working in USA and my EAD is going to expire soon and my spouse employer not filing L1 extension.
My employer ready to file L1B if any possibility and my employer an office in India as well. And also my employer is a prime vendor to my client.
So here are my queries
1. Can I convert from L2 to L1B while I am in USA?
If yes to 1
2. If we file L1B do I need to go out of USA for stamping?
3. Can I work while L1B petetion is in processing (on receipt number).

Any other suggestions please let me know

1. Were you working with your L2 Employer, in their office in India, for at least 1 Year in last 3 Years? If yes, then your employer can try to apply L1 for you.
2. It depends, if USCIS approves the COS from L2 to L1 then you need not go for stamping.
3. You can work with your L2 EAD as long as your spouse is in US on valid L1 status. As soon as your spouse leaves US, so would you too even if your L2 to L1 petition is pending. If at all you wish to speed it up appl L2 to L1 in premium.

I mean...once my employer files L1, can I work on L1 visa even if the petetion is in process?

Please support !!

I am currently in India ( working for an MNC ) and got a transfer to US in same organisation on L2-EAD.
My spouse ( wife ) is already in US on L1B.

My new project is planning to transfer me to L1A.

It is 10 months for me in current project.

What is the process for C.O.S. ( change of status )...Will it impact my transfer in any case...

Please help
