My l1b will be expiring in 2 months. This will after the extension. I just want to know how can I convert my visa to h1 and should I have to stay one year from us to reset the visa?

How long have you already spent in US on L1 visa? In order to move to H1 you would first need to be part of H1 Cap. Yearly H1 Cap opens 1st Work Day of April and if approved the earliest you can move to H1 is Oct 2015. You need to first find an employer willing to sponsor your H1.
