Entering USA while L1 extension

Hi

I have valid L1 visa till June 2015, my dependents are currently in India and hold valid
visa till June 2015. If I apply for visa extension in April will they be able to enter
USA upto June. OR they have to enter USA before my extension application is submited to USCIS.
IS there a restriction to enter USA after submission of L1 extension application even though
they have valid visa.

Ideally, there should not be any issue with your dependants entering USA. However, if the validity of the visa at the time of entry expires within next couple of months, INS might cross question. Its best to furnish a copy of your L1 extension paperwork as well to your dependants so that they can show that you have filed for an extension.
