L1 Details for NEW JOINEE

Hi
I have joined an US MNC in Jan 2015 and planning to go to USA in April 2015.
I need to know if I can go on L1 .
If not then on which type of Visa I can go for approx. 6 Months.

L1 is a broad category you are specifying
L1A is managerial/executive
L1B is specialized knowledge

In either case, you need be employed with your current organization for at least 12 months before you can apply for a visa.

The only other category which I think you might fit into is H1B, but application submission for this year has already closed.

So you will have to wait for a while longer
