To file for L1A conversion, I am hearing that the petition should be filed 6 months prior to 5 years of completion of L1 B (Max out), Can you please let me know is it mandatory to file the L1 A COS before 6 months of Visa/I-94 expiry date.
My Visa/I-94 is expiring on Sep-2015(with 4 years and 7 months) and I will be completing 5 years by Jan-2016. DO I need to file L1A COS by end of March (Before 6 months of Visa expiry date)? Can I still wait till June-2015?
I am working as a Manager from the last 1.5 years, but the services are not ameded. Please let me know the best option to proceed on this. My employer giving first preference for H1B CAP and advising to hold till June-2015.
