I am busy filling out the DS-160 in connection to extending my L1 visa and the L2s for my wife and child. I live in America, to the extent I own a house. When answering questions on behalf of my son (he is 3) there are questions like "do you have a parent who lives in America?". I am the parent and I live in America, but for the purpose of the ds-160 I am currently in South Africa in order to have the interview, should I answer yes to this or no? I general can I consider myself as a resident of America even though my visa is in the process of being extended?
