I came is USA WITH L1B blanket VISA through my company on 1st March 2010 it was expiring on January 22, 2013. My company had applied for extension and conversion to L1 A blanket but due to personal requirements I had to go to India so my extension was canceled through proper process after I left to India on April 9th, 2013. I came to USA in September 7th, 2013 on L1A blanket with VISA validity till August 8th, 2016. Is it still possible to extend the VISA, If yes how long?
If I get through H1 B VISA through the process what would be the maximum period I can get the H1B VISA? To get H1 B I will have to quit my current company in October, is it worth taking the risk as the employer who is sponsoring my VISA will have to immediately apply for a GC and therefore would like to know how long one can stays with all type of VISA.
Could anyone help?
