Having H1B with 221(g) and applying for L1B

Hi,

I have applied for H1B through a consultancy in US. I had an interview on 30 th of NOV 2005 and I got a 221(g) asking for more details on the client. I still did not go for the second time, since my consultancy is yet to give me the document.

In the meantime, My current company is in a situation to send me to US through L1B. Is is possible to have a H1B with 221(g) and apply for a new petition for L1B? What is the possiblity of me getting the visa??

Please help me out.

it is possible to get L1 even with H1B pending, make sure that your l1 papers are good. You will also have to convince the Visa Officer about your intentions clearly.
