Hi All.
I had made an error once i entered the country a few years ago and noted my i94 as expiring in 2016, when in fact it expires next week on the 6th, my company are working to submit an extension request but i am not confident it can be done in time. my visa itself expires in 2017.
What are my options here? I have been told by colleagues that i have two options;
1) Go to my local airport, speak to immigration services and request a new i94 - Im not sure on this one as i believe they are only issues upon entry to the country.
2) Take a short (1 - 2 day) travel out of the country to either Canada or Mexico (as a british citizen canada would be my best option). Upon re-entry i should be issued a new i94 which will extend to the termination date of my visa.
I am getting very worried about this, any solution you may offer are deeply appreciated.
