Hi,
My spouse is travelling to the US on L1 from India. At present I am employed in India and am planning to accompany him to the US as an L2 dependent.
Can I be employed in India while applying for L2 visa and while appearing for the L2 visa interview?
If yes, can I be employed in India till I leave for the US ?
The company for which I am working in India is headquartered in the US. So once I reach US, I plan to apply for EAD and become a US employee of the same company.
However as I understand there is a 90 days EAD lead time during which I cannot be working in the US.
This disrupts my current work during transition. Is there anything that I can do legally to minimize/eliminate the 90 days break ?
