L1 B - Can I recapture unused time?

Dear Experts;
My L1B visa was approved During 2008. I was in US for 2 years.

Can I recapture unused time for L1B visa, as we can for H1B?

If you spent 1 year out of the US (which you obviously did) your time from 2008-2010 was reset.
This means you will get new 5 years for L1 visa or 6 years in case of H1B.

So does that mean, if my current employer files for L1B, there is no chance of rejection?( My current company is different than the company from where my L1 got initiated earlier)

Or will it be the same petition with new end date?

New company means new L1 visa and new petition. Even a new L1 visa with the same company requires new petition.
When was the last time you were in the US on L1 Visa?
If it was more than a year ago you will get full duration for new visa. If not, the old dates will be counted.

You are eligible for visa anyhow, it only depends how much time you'll be allowed to stay.

Understand. I came back long ago, Year 2010.
Now a days there are lot of rejections for L1 is getting reported, hence little bit concerned.

As I had earlier approved petition, is it guaranteed that if my company files for L1 B now, the petition will be auto approved. [ For H1 petition is in auto mode]

There is no guarantee as such. If you qualify for L1B for the current employer you would get it. Also, I dont understand what you mean by "H1 petition is in auto mode"
