Need new L1B Visa ?

Hi All,

Please kindly help me for this question it would be appreciated very much.

My L1 Visa on will expire on Aug 2017
The PED on the Visa already Expired on NOV 2014.
I just got an extension until NOV 2016. (New I-797 Paperwork)

Right now I am outside the USA. Before I will re enter to US again. Do I need to apply the New L1 Visa at the US Embassy (Of course Outside USA) ? Or I can still use my Current Visa with the New Approval of I-797 because it still Valid until Aug 2017 ?

But one thing is the description on the Current L1 Visa said "Must present approved I-797" and it specific with the OLD Petition Number. Also said "PED 30 NOV 2014"

And as I know when I got the new Approval of I-797. The Paperwork Number was different from what shown on the Visa.

That is why I am not sure what should I do.

Please kindly advise.

You existing visa will work fine, but you need to carry your old I797 and I129S along with the new ones as well while going through the port of entry.
