Changing positions for same company while on L-1A

Hello, I recently moved to the US on an L1 visa as a Business development leader. There is an opportunity for me to be promoted to a Regional Marketing leader.
Is this promotion/title change allowed under the L1A rules.
I would appreciate a response.

If the role that you are getting promoted into is also a Managerial/Executive function, your existing L1A visa will be sufficient.
