L2 Visa Approval

I will be travelling for my L2 visa approval next week. My husband got his L1 A visa approved last month.
Can some one plz help me with the following questions:

Q1) Why are you filling your visa separately ? ( Why did not you apply the visa with your husband ?)
Q2) What you will do in US ? ( will you work in US ? )

How can someone in the forum answer these as they pertain to your situation.
1. They most probably would not ask this question. If at all the officer does, answer truthfully, as to what the reason was.
2. Yes this is a genuine question that can be asked, if indeed you plan to work , you can say you will do so after getting proper authorization, nothing wrong in accepting it.
