Lost L1 Visa here in the US

Lost my passport and L1 Visa here in the US.
Already contacted my country's embassy for the passport.
Do I need to go back to my home country to re-apply and file the same documents over again or just the documents I have?

You will have to file a report with the local precint police, get a copy of the police report, get a copy of the request / receipt that you have filed with your contry's embassy / consulate, a copy of the US visa that was issued to you (assuming you have that), a print out of your online I-94, copy of all your petition documents (I797, I129 etc) and then file a report with the nearest US immigration office. You will also have to notify the department of homeland security.
