Internal Job change on L1b blanket

Hi I've been on L1b blanket for 2 years and will be back to home country next month to extend for another 2 years. Because of organization change, I'm hoping to take another job in the same company. I understand it's a bit too late to make this decision since my lawyer needs to re-prepare L1b renew documentation and my company needs to pay extra cost for lawyers' work. anyway. my question are,

1 Does my company needs to request a completely new L1b blanket visa for me if I want to change job?
2 If all we need to do is to amend my current L1b, how much time does amend L1b take? Do I need to be out of US during the process?
3 If I made to amend or get a new L1b, how long does it allow me stay in the US? does the past 2 years counted in the total period?
