Hi Ron,
I am on L1b blanket petition which would expire on July 22nd 2015 (first three years). However, my I94 expires in February 2018. My company lawyer initially said that I should leave the country and apply for an extension for 2 more years. But now he says that I don't need to exit and apply for an extension as my I94 is valid until 2018. He says that I can stay in the country legally and work for my employer until July 2017 (my L1b max out date). I want to know if this is correct.
