Date of Birth Location mismatch with Passport

Hi,
I am on L1A in USA and my employer is filing my GC.
Query: My date of birth certificate in India is from Gujarat while my Passport says: Place of Birth "Delhi". Is that an issue. If I submit my Original date of Birth certificate, will this mismatch with Passport be an issue? The date of birth on both documents is the same though.

Why is there a mismatch?

There is a mismatch because when the passport form was first being submitted (over 20yrs back) we didn't pay too much attention. The officials back then also didn't fuss about it.

Ensure that your application forms reflect the correct information, not whatever information is incorrectly recorded in documents.
