L1-B Extension

Hi

I am on L1-B visa and it will be expired on May 2006.

Here is some additional info.

I-797 Approval notice ( April 2005 to May 2008)

Visa stamp on passport ( May 30 2005 to May 30 2006)

I-94 ( Valid till May 2006)

I am planning to apply for Visa Extension .... here are my queries

1. Do i need to travel to either Mexico or Canada for extension of my Visa.

2. As my I-797 is valid till May 2008 ... Do i need to apply for Visa extension.

3. Briefly explain me the procedure to goahead with L1-B extension process.

1. Preferably you should visit home country for applying for visa extension.
2. If you dont wanna travel, you need not to apply for Visa extension, but you need to apply for extension of I-94
3. L1B Extension is same as applying a fresh visa.
