Marriage post L1-B blanket Visa - URGENT

Hi, I currently have an L1-B blanket visa which expires in 2017. The question i had is with regards to getting my wife over to the states on an L2. We got married two days back and I am trying to see what is the first step in applying for an L2.

first question:
Should I change the marital status in my L1-B from single to married and then apply for her L2 ?
OR
Can she directly apply for an L2 ?

Second Question:
she has been rejected a B1 visa before - will that be of a problem during L2 processing ?

third Question:
How long should she wait post marriage to apply for an L2 ?
