L 2 Dependent Visa Rejected as Primary L1 B was not Clearly approvable

Hi All,

Myself and my spouse went together for Visa interview. I had applied on L1 B and my Spouse on L2 dependent. Since my L1 B is not Clearly Approvable, my spouse visa also got denied. Interview was on 27th July 2015.

I do have my B1 approved Visa. so my company is looking for possibilities to travel on B1.

my question is?
shall i reapply my spouse visa on B2 category?
is this advisable?
does any one faced this kind of issues earlier? what kind of question we could expect on my spouse interview?
any other missing information that you would like to share on this.
