Hi,
I am currently working in India. I got L2 Visa recently and planning to start work in US in Jan 2016. I plan to take 2 weeks leave from my office in India and travel to US for applying EAD. Than come back to India and continue to work with my current employer till the time I get my EAD card.
My questions are:
1. Is there any legal issue in above situation ?
2. Can I leave US and continue to work in India while my EAD application is in progress in US ?
3. My current employer also exploring the L1B Visa processing for me, but the decision is not finalized and it might take a month to get clarity. Is it going to create problems in getting EAD card or L1 B visa, if both applications are processed sametime, EAD in US and L1B in India ?
