L1B Visa Petition expired, but Visa is still Valid

Hi,

I was granted L1B visa in October 2013 with PED 09 September 2015 and Visa Expiry as 09 September 2016.
At that time due to some issues i can not travel on L1 visa.

Now my company is planning to transfer me based on my L1 Visa, but as my PED will be expired before i enter US on 20th September.

I am not sure should i file for a renewal of Visa or what should i do?
