L1B Visa Eligibility Post Aquisition

Hello All,
I was expecting my company to file a L1B visa for myself, in which I have about 2 years of work experience, but now my company got acquired by another company.

And as L1B visa requirement says that I need to have at-least 1 year experience with the company before I can apply for L1 visa, now that my company got changed after acquisition, should I wait for one year from the date of acquisition to apply for L1 visa since I do not have any work experience with the new company? Or my experience with old company is accounted?

My job role will remain same even in the new company though.

Acquisition is a normal thing to happen in the business world & specially in the US market.

You can submit your application today itself, provided you can provide the documentation related to the recent acquisition.
