L2 visa for adopted child

I stay in India. My company will file for my L-1 A visa shortly. I have a child I adopted 3 years back, in India. Is the L-2 dependent visa application for adopted child same as for a biological child.

Or are there any additional forms etc to be filled up for an adopted child. What is the time frame for approval of the dependent visa for the adopted child.

The child's age is 8 years.
