  • L1A visa L2 spouse

    Hi,

I am getting set for my L1A visa appointment (for US) in the next 15 days and I had these questions -
    1. I got married recently and my wives name is not on my passport. Will she be eligible for an L2?
    2. Do I have to get her name added to my passport for this to happen?
    3. Also, read the documents, but I want to make sure that L2 can work in any organization they wish to. I heard some stories that they were only limited to NGOs and the likes.

    Thanks,
    M.

As long as you can provide valid proof of marriage, there is no need to get your wife's name added to your passport.

L2 visa holders should be able to work in any organization in US, there is no legal limitation.
