URGENT : applying for L2 while having H1B selected

Hello,
I really need very urgent help on below question, your answers will be really appreciated.
Me and my wife both have L1B visa currently.
She is in USA now and im in india. I have applied for H1B this year and got approved(not went for stamping yet)
I have also traveled to USA last year but currently in India.
so now the questions are

1) Can i file L2 now and travel to USA?
2) is it required to file L2 before 30st Sept ?
3) what are the chances of L2 getting approved
4) What questions they will have for me as i have L1 and H1 also.
5) Will my H1B available even after L2 is approved?
6) Can i change my L2 to H1B after going to USA ?

1. Yes.
2. Not required.
3. High if your spouse is maintaining valid L1 status.
4. Typical ones to L2, spouse place of work, if you plan to work etc. Check the experiences section.
5. Once cap counted one remains cap exempt for 6 Years, so would say yes.
6. Yes.

My understanding is that you can't hold two visa's of the same category at the same time . L and H belong to the same category of visa's

You cannot have L1 and H1 , but you can have L2 and H1 or L1 and H4. Even if one has multiple visas valid in passport, one must declare the visa one is entering on and provide supporting evidences of the same.
