I have valid L1B visa till 2016 end and I94 also has the same validity. But the I129 form has already expired, as the employer mentioned only one year in the petition.
Is there any way to have new I129 form with extended date?
Reason I'm asking this is, I recently entered into US after vacation and the immigration officer was questioning this I129 validity and said he can deny entry based on this. After a 15min discussion & explaining about the project, he allowed me entry but mentioned that definitely need to have updated I129 otherwise my entry to US will be denied next time.
Please advice.
