Hi all
I have an L1A visa which expires in a few years.
Likewise, my I-94 document also expires in a few years.
If I hand my notice to my employer that I wish to resign in two weeks time, I would like to know if I can then do the following:
1) Once my employment ends, visit say Canada or South America for 2 or 3 weeks, then
2) Re-enter the US using my L1A visa and I-94 simply for the purposes of spending one night, and then
3) Depart the US permanently.
My focus is more on point two above.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated as I need to figure out if my L1 visa is adequate for the above, or if I also need to apply for a tourist visa for that one night when re-entering.
As a bonus, if you could provide links to official guidance I would be very thankful.
Kind regards
