  • L1 Visa for self employed/contractor

    Hello,

I have been working with a US based firm as a contractor since last 2 years.. My consulting fees is transferred directly from the US bank by the company as wired transfer.
I have travelled earlier to US for 2 weeks on B1/B2 visa. The company is ready to cooperate with whatever documentation is required for the purpose.
    My concerns are
    - Employer-employee relationship needs to be established. I am working as a contractor/Sole proprietor.
    - The US based company have no office in India. I do have an office but the agreement is registered in my name.
Am I eligible to apply for L1 visa as I work in the managerial position?

    Thanks!
