Maxout Period for L1-B Visa

Hi,

I came on L1-B Visa in 2010 Oct 25 which was valid till Oct 25 2013 (and when I reentered US in 2012 got an I-94 till Oct-2015 ) Due to family emergency had to leave US in Apr-2014 and my company applied for a new L1-B in May 2014 since I stayed on I-94 after Oct 25 2013 and got the new petition, Visa till 2017 May. Does that mean since it is a new L1-B Visa my Maxout period is reset ??

No. Maxout period resets only when one applies and gets a new petition approved after staying out of US for 1 Year.
