After looking into all types of visas that allow me to work in US, I found that the most appropriate Visa for the type of work I will do is the L1 Visa, but I need to be sure if I am satisfying ALL of that Visa's requirements before trying to apply.
The foreign company who will send me to US has a contract with the Ministry of foreign affairs in my country so they perform development, consultations and technical works for our embassy at US, according to the contract, there should be someone from the foreigner company to do some essential works, who is initially: Myself. we also have a sub-contractor who will do some of the work "US different company".
The duration of that project is one-year, so B1 visa is not a good solution
let's have a look on some of the L1 requirements that i doubt i am not applicable to:
1- The employee must have worked abroad for a period of one year at the foreigner company:
I haven't worked for one year and I'll not be hired to the foreigner company before the project starts. But my current employer has agreement and alliance with the foreigner company so they usually exchange engineers and resources when needed, so the business can be between three sides instead of two, which means that my company has indirect relationship with the client at US.
2- The employee must have been employed abroad in an executive or managerial position, otherwise known as a qualifying position
and also must work in US in an executive or managerial position or specialized knowledge.
I am not an executive or manager in my country and will not be in US too. I am not also a special skilled person, Actually any skilled experienced engineer can do this work, but as stated by the description of this requirement, "the applicant must be crucial for the business to run", and that applies to me "without me or any engineer from my company, the business will not be able to run", but although, still not sure if this is enough.
Kindly I need any help from specialist or someone has applied with same conditions as me.
