I'm Brazilian and I have L1B visa, my petition is allowing me to stay in USA 3 years as is showing on my I 94, but in my passport the stamp I've received only 2 years. I can stay until complete 3 , but if I leave US for any reason, I can't come back anymore because my stamp will be expired(the consulate gave me the stamp only for 2 years, 1 year less then my petition).
My question is, I have to renew my stamp for more 1 year to complete the full 3 years of the petition, how does it work ? I have to fill out all the paper again and take for the consulate or to renew the stamp is more easier, does it need an interview again, just to renew the stamp for more 1 year ?
