L1A to H1B

Hello Experts,

I have a peculiar situation. I came to the US a month ago on an L1A (employer A)
Before I entered I also had a valid H1B (employer B)stamped on my passport. This is still valid in the passport.

If I would like to transfer my status to the H1B and work for employer B or any other employer, what is the process. Please guide me

B will have to file an H1 petition for you (or file amendment to their existing petition) to change your status. After change of status is approved, you can start working for B. In fact, after change of status you must start working for B.
