L1,L2 visa expiring; EAD expiring for spouse

Really need your help here. My case:
Primary L1B (Blanket) visa expiring : Nov 2015
Primary I94 Expiring: Sep 2018
Spouse L2 Visa expiring: Nov 2015
Spouse I94 expiring: Nov 2015 (our bad luck as we traveled separately)
EAD expiry: Nov 2015
Currently working in US.
Question:
1. I plan to get a renew visa for the sake of travel convenience. How much time does it take to get a renewed visa if I go for a fresh stamping in Mexico or Canada.
2. Can my wife apply for her EAD extension based on my I94 as her I94 & Visa expires in a month.
3. What is the best way based on above scenario to continue stay in US?
