    L2 - post doctorate

    I am on a work relocation with an L1 visa, and my husband is with me as the L2. My husband is finishing his PhD remotely with his university back home, and would like to apply for a post-doc in the US. My questions are:
    1. Is an L2 visa acceptable for a post-doc?
    2. Since a post-doc (as I understand, I may be wrong) involves teaching, would my husband require an EAD to apply?
