Regarding L1 Visa

My company is processing L1 Blanket for me and my two brothers are in USA already, one of my friend told that your Approval of L1 visa from Embassy will be very difficult since your two brothers are already there. Also while filling DS-160 form you need to fill there details too.

Is this really matters on approving my L1 for me and my Dependents. Please help me on this. Thanks for your valuable replies.

Already having two brothers in US should not affect your chances. L1 would be decided based on its merits. Yes, you have to declare the details of relatives present already in US.

I really doubt , if that will affect your case. For blanket - VO only has 3-5 minutes and he checks - your merit for the role that you are going to perform. Not sure if he will have time to check other details of this kind.

I suggest , stop inquiring with every random person about the chances of approval. No one can tell you . Complete your documents thoroughly and be ready to explain about your role. Dont try to think about situation which is beyond your control.

Even if - US considers your status of your relative as a factor for approval- your brother will not come back to india so that you have a higher chance of approval. So just do your homework well, talk confidently and it should all work fine.
