I'm Currently working under L1B visa, My Employer is filing my L1A so that I can take up Managerial Role in US. I have few questions.
- Since I was NOT on a Managerial title when I was in India (But there were people reporting to me) and came here on a specialization role on L1B, will converting my VISA to L1A get me the benefit of time in getting a green card quicker (EB1C) ? or After conversion in my case it will take the default time of 6-7 years or so?
- If above option is time consuming, will it make sense for me to go back to India and work on a managerial title there for a year and file a L1A after an year to get green card sooner?
