College Degree lost before applying L1B

Guys,

I am about to start L1B filing process in India and I am not able to track my college degree (4 year Bachelor of Engineering) certificate.
I have college leaving certificate and all 8 semester mark sheets.

As per university rule, it may take couple of weeks to duplicate degree certificate. I have started the process but it may take a while.

Is there any workaround for college degree? Can I present some supporting documents in absence of degree certificate?
Any personal experience or suggestion?
