L1B To H1( Consular processing)

Please advise.

My L1 is valid unitl Feb 2017 and also my H1 got approved with consular processing (through same company). Is there a set time frame to change to H1 ? Can I continue travelling with my L1 and convert to H1 when my L1 is about to expire ?

No such time frame. You can go for H1 conversion as long as petition is valid or 6 years not completed (remember H1+L1 can at max be for 6 Years) and as long as petition, employment and associated documents (client letter, SOW etc) stand valid at the time you do decide go for H1.
